The Walnut Street Inn is an exclusive property where every guest reservation is unique and important to us. Please read through our policies below.

Check-In / Check-Out

Check-in: 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM. If arriving outside of check-in times, please call to make arrangements.
Check-out: Before or at 11:00 AM.

Cancellation Policies

If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us at least 14 (fourteen) days* prior to your arrival date to cancel your reservation. In the unlikely event that you must cancel with less than fourteen (14) days* notice, shorten your stay or check out early, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for payment for the first night or 1/2 of the cost for reservations longer than three nights. If we can rebook your room(s), a full or partial refund may be made.

A 60 day* cancellation notice is required on parties taking 5 rooms or more, whole house bookings and for some holidays and special events.

Rates/policies are subject to change and vary during high impact periods and special events.


Absolutely no smoking inside the buildings. Designated outdoor smoking areas are available and must be used in order for us to maintain our good standing as a reputable inn. Guests who disregard our policy and smoke in the rooms will be charged $250 for “airing out time” plus appropriate dry cleaning charges for curtains and bed linens.

*Open flames, such as candles, are also not permitted as they are a fire hazard.


Sorry, pets are not allowed. Guests who disregard our pet policy will be charged additional fees for cleaning and pet dander removal.

Service animals are permitted.
